Vehicle Technician Job Opportunity in Plymouth, Devon
Our client, a reputable and expanding automotive dealership in Plymouth, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum
- Approximate OTE of £37,000, inclusive of performance incentives
- Full-time hours of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Opportunity to work one in five Saturday mornings on a rota

Duties:
- Conduct routine servicing on a diverse range of vehicle makes and models
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Assist with workshop duties as required to support operational efficiency
- Ensure high standards of safety and workshop organisation
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise effectively with clients
- Support the continued growth of the service team through dedicated technician expertise
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ qualification preferred; Level 2 technicians with significant experience will also be considered
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership environment
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Knowledge of brand-specific requirements (confirmation pending)
- Willingness to undertake EV training and develop expertise in electric vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
