At Each Other Care, we’re proud to be a family‑owned care home group with a simple purpose: caring for people in a way that contributes to meaningful lives.
We’re now looking for a Registered Manager to lead Highfield Hall, a warm and welcoming home made up of two distinct units working together under one registration:
- A Residential and Dementia unit for older adults, and
- An Under 65s unit supporting adults with additional and more complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to bring clarity, stability, and heart‑led leadership to a diverse service — supported by a Deputy Manager and dedicated Unit Managers for each area.
About the role
As Registered Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for both units, leading the home as one service while valuing the unique identity and needs of each unit.
You’ll be a visible, supportive presence, setting clear direction, role‑modelling our values, and creating the conditions for residents to live well and for teams to do their best work. You’ll hold accountability for care quality, safeguarding, compliance, people leadership, and the overall performance of Highfield Hall — but you’ll never be doing it alone.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading complex services, loves developing people, and believes that great leadership is built on relationships, trust, and care.
What you’ll be part of
In this role, you’ll:
- Hold CQC registration and overall accountability for Highfield Hall
- Lead and support the Deputy Manager and Unit Managers across both units
- Ensure safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care for everyone living at the home
- Create a positive, psychologically safe culture where team members feel supported and heard
- Champion safeguarding, strong governance, and continuous improvement
- Develop confident leaders and nurture internal talent
- Manage operational performance and financial sustainability responsibly
- Build trusting relationships with residents, families, professionals, and partners
- Be a calm, reassuring presence during periods of change and growth
Our Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal Registered Manager is a warm, confident, and values‑led leader who genuinely loves being around people and takes pride in building homes where both residents and team members can truly thrive.
You’ll be someone who brings energy, steadiness, and reassurance, especially within a service that supports people with different needs and experiences. You’re comfortable holding accountability, but you lead in a way that feels human, open, and grounded in care.
You’ll be someone who:
- Has experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC‑regulated service and feels confident overseeing a complex or multi‑service environment
- Understands and values the differences between services supporting older adults and adults under 65 with additional or more complex needs
- Leads with authenticity — you’re approachable, honest, and happy to roll your sleeves up when needed
- Balances strong governance and clear expectations with warmth, encouragement, and trust
- Enjoys developing others and takes pride in helping leaders and teams grow in confidence and capability
- Brings a positive, calm presence, especially during change, helping people feel supported and listened to
- Is comfortable having honest conversations and making clear decisions, always with empathy and respect
You’ll hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and be eligible to register with the CQC.
Above all, you’ll share our belief that care is about showing up for each other, being real, staying positive, and building meaningful relationships every day — and you’ll be excited by the opportunity to lead a home where those values truly matter.
Why join Each Other Care?
We believe that great leaders shape great homes. At Each Other Care, you’ll be supported by a wider organisation that values kindness, honesty, and collaboration just as much as outcomes and performance.
We’ll encourage you to be yourself, support your development, and stand alongside you as you lead — because when our leaders thrive, so do our teams and residents.
