We are looking for a Childcare Operations Manager who can oversee the smooth daily running of our childcare services. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in childcare operations, team supervision, safeguarding standards, and parent communication. You will help ensure that our services are well-organised, compliant, and delivered to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day running of childcare services, ensuring schedules, staff coverage, resources, and routines are properly managed.
Team Supervision:
Support, guide, and motivate childcare staff to maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and teamwork.
Safeguarding and Compliance:
Ensure that all childcare policies, health and safety procedures, safeguarding practices, and regulatory requirements are followed.
Parent and Family Communication:
Act as a key point of contact for parents and guardians, responding to questions, concerns, and service updates in a professional and supportive manner.
Service Quality Improvement:
Monitor service standards, identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation of better processes and care practices.
Administrative Oversight:
Manage records, staff rotas, attendance information, incident reports, and other operational documents accurately and confidentially.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Previous experience in childcare, nursery management, early years services, family services, or a similar care-based operational role.
Leadership Skills:
Strong ability to supervise teams, manage daily priorities, solve problems, and support staff in a calm and professional manner.
Knowledge of Childcare Standards:
Good understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, child wellbeing, and childcare service procedures.
Communication Skills:
Confident communicator who can work effectively with staff, parents, children, and external partners.
Organisation:
Able to manage schedules, documentation, staffing needs, and operational tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Mindset:
Caring, reliable, practical, and professional. You understand the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for children, families, and staff.
Pay: £49,860.00-£58,960.00 per year
