We are seeking EXPERIENCED enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly to customers at the bar
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the till system
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety protocols
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Skills
- Proven bar experience in hospitality or similar service roles is ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cash handling and change provision
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good time management skills, especially during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous bar experience is essential; cocktail training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Personal presentation should be neat and professional at all times
