Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our engineering clients team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various activities across our site, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times
- Support the preparation and organisation of work areas to maintain safety and efficiency
- Carry out general manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and stacking materials or equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the work site
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks on site
- Support specialised teams with additional tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
- Report any safety concerns or hazards to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Must experience with hand tools, will be levelling out materials
- Previous experience operating an FLT
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a manual labour setting
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality as key attributes
