From our humble beginnings from one unit at St. James Market in Bradford, we now have three state-of-the-art facilities and a product range into the thousands. Serving the hospitality, events & education arenas. The quest has always been to develop a business with a reputation built on quality and service. About The Role
playing a pivotal role within the company, working at pace ensuring we meet / exceed customer expectations “in Time, On Time, In Full”. Lead and organise your team to work efficiently and safely whilst maintaining a supportive and fun workplace. It's fast and ever-changing - are you up for the challenge?
- Leading a team to successfully deliver your KPI’s and drive business performance.
- Responsible for acuratley collating customer orders, taking due care and attention to ensure the goods arrive in good condition.
- Promote Delifresh Values in you’re and your teams behaviours
- You will coach, develop and lead your team and establish a continuous improvement culture.
- You will work closely with internal and external suppliers and will build strong, effective relationships
- ensuring that the site is legally compliant & all records (site & people) are up to date.
- Working alongside the leadership teams to ensure a smooth and slick operation across the site.
- Take ownership of your decisions and team culture
- Keep all work areas clean and tidy and promote clean as you go performance
About You
As well as tons of resilience you must have:
- Experience of a Warehouse, Logistics or Transport Management or equivalent
- Experience in a large scale production/warehouse operation, ideally across Food Manufacturing.
- The ability to coach and encourage your team and help them explore opportunities to continuously improve how they do their job
- The ability to problem solve, and implement process changes in order to improve operational performance.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop teams with varying skill sets.
- Be flexible and hardworking with a good sense of humour
Salary: £31,856.55 (5 out of 7 nights, typical shift pattern 19:20 till 04:20)
