Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within a dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, including floors, windows, restrooms, and communal areas.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients or visitors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good organisational skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly across different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities.
- A positive attitude with reliable punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean and welcoming environments while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Previous experience in janitorial roles will be considered an advantage but is not essential for motivated candidates eager to learn.
The hours are - Monday to Friday 05:30 - 07:30am
Pay: £12.71 per hour
