Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Electricians and Electrical Improvers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Candidates should possess solid electrical experience and be comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.
Duties
- Install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in the planning and layout of electrical systems for new installations or upgrades.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven electrical experience, ideally with a background in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills, saws, etc.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred but not mandatory for improvers.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
