JOB TITLE: Program Manager - Aerospace & Defense EMEA
LOCATION: Hybrid - Travel to Bicester site as required
About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to join our Customer Solutions Engineering team within the Aerospace & Defence (A&D) segment.
This is a key role focused on managing strategic customer programmes, driving business growth, and supporting market penetration. You will play a critical part in delivering innovative RF, fibre optic (FO) and low-frequency (LF) solutions, while ensuring strong customer relationships and successful project execution.
What you’ll be doing
As Program Manager, you will:
- Manage complex customer projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Lead cross-functional teams across internal departments, customers, suppliers, and partners
- Develop and implement strategies to grow systems and project-based business
- Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions (Design-In approach)
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Drive margin optimisation through proactive change and claim management
- Apply project and risk management methodologies to achieve financial and strategic goals
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality delivery and performance
- Monitor project progress, manage deviations, and lead recovery actions where required
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and compliance
- Support business development initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with Aerospace & Defence standards and regulatory requirements

About you
We’re looking for someone who can balance technical understanding with strong programme leadership:
- Proven experience managing complex projects in an international environment
- Engineering or technical background
- Strong knowledge of project management principles (IPMA C level or similar preferred)
- Experience in (Aerospace &) Defence or industrial system projects
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including reporting and presentations
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and project objectives
Desirable:
- Knowledge of RF, fibre optics (FO), LF technologies or similar
- Familiarity with IT networks, wireless technologies, or cable assemblies
- German language skills (in addition to English)
