Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our Jubilee Activity Centre. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our workspace is tidy and welcoming at all the times. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Working Hours are
Monday to Friday 5am to 8am
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to drive may be advantageous for travelling between multiple sites if required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with team members and understand instructions.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required based on business needs.
