Role: Store Manager (Full-Time, In-Person)

Sectorsure currently operates 9 forecourts in the South of England. We are a family-run business and pride ourselves on being a tight-knit group that values its people. We are currently looking for an experienced, driven, and enthusiastic Store Manager to take full ownership of our site, lead our team, and help drive our business forward.
Role Description
As our Store Manager, you will have ultimate responsibility for the success, compliance, and day-to-day operations of our forecourt and retail store. You will lead by example, fostering a high-performing team, ensuring flawless customer service, and driving profitability. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be empowered to run the site as if it were your own, supported by a dedicated Assistant Manager and a tight-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Leadership & Strategy: Take full ownership of the store's performance, driving sales, managing budgets, and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Act as the ultimate champion for health and safety, ensuring the site remains 100% safe, legal, and compliant with all forecourt and retail regulations at all times. Also acting as the DPS for site.
- Team Development: Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for your team, actively coaching your Assistant Manager to step up in your absence.
- Customer Excellence: Set and maintain impeccable standards on the shop floor, ensuring a welcoming environment and outstanding service for every customer.
- Commercial & Stock Management: Manage inventory levels, waste, merchandising, and supplier relationships to maximize profitability and keep the station running seamlessly.
What We Are Looking For
We want a proactive, highly organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and loves developing people.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Store Manager or a senior Assistant Manager ready to step up. A background in retail, convenience, or grocery is highly desirable (forecourt experience is a major bonus, but not essential).
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of retail KPIs, stock control, and cost management.
- Compliance Mindset: A responsible attitude with a meticulous eye for health, safety, and legal compliance.
- Inspiring Leader: A natural motivator who can build team morale, resolve conflicts, and deliver consistent standards.
- Flexibility: A hands-on manager who is happy to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including some weekends.
