Why TILT Education?
Our school is different.
With typically four pupils supported by two members of staff, we are able to provide genuinely personalised education where relationships come first. Staff have the time to understand each young person, celebrate their strengths and support them to overcome barriers to learning.
We believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. Outdoor education, sport, wellbeing and preparation for adulthood are central to our curriculum, giving pupils meaningful opportunities to experience success and develop the skills they need for adult life.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is passionate about supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Has experience working with children or young people (school experience is desirable but not essential).
- Can build positive, professional relationships with pupils.
- Is calm, patient, resilient and adaptable.
- Enjoys being active and participating in sports and outdoor activities.
- Has an interest in environmental education, wellbeing or outdoor learning.
- Is committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential.

- Excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
- The opportunity to contribute to innovative curriculum development.
- Ongoing training in trauma-informed practice, SEND and SEMH.
- A varied role combining classroom learning with outdoor education and enrichment.
