Eden Yard is an award-winning family business based near Penrith, growing, pressing and bottling Cumbria's only cold pressed rapeseed oil.
From our farm and farmshop, we work with chefs, retailers and customers who share our passion for local food and farming.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who shares our values and wants to be part of the next chapter of the Eden Yard Journey.
The Role
As Operations Coordinator you will work alongside the directors to help manage the day to day running of the business including both production and sales.
You will oversee manufacturing and bottling, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality assurance and traceability.
You will manage customer enquiries, process wholesale orders and generate new sales leads.
You will represent the company at shows and markets.
You will work alongside the directors on business and product development.
You will also work alongside our farmshop team and support in the shop where required.
Hours negotiable, minimum 24 hours Tuesday to Friday. Flexibility to cover occasional weekend shows.
About You
You will work well both alone and as part of a team.
You will have great computer skills and attention to detail with paperwork and compliance.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident chatting to customers.
You will share our passion for local farm to fork produce and want to be part of the growth of a small friendly artisan business.
Whilst experience would be great, your personal skills and qualities are more important and full training will be provided for the right candidate.
