Walker Brothers is a UK manufacturer of retail display equipment and shopfitting products, working with major retailers, brands and shopfitting businesses across the UK.
We're looking for an Account Manager to join our commercial team in Elland.
This is an existing customer account management role. You'll look after a portfolio of customers, act as their main point of contact and make sure enquiries, quotations, orders and projects move through the business properly.
The role works a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday in line with our factory.
You don't need to be an engineer or estimator. We're looking primarily for someone who is organised, commercially minded, good with customers and comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
The role will include:
- Managing day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of B2B customers
- Responding to customer enquiries and keeping customers updated
- Coordinating quotations with our estimating and engineering teams
- Following quotations through and helping convert opportunities into orders
- Making sure customer requirements are clearly communicated internally
- Working with production, purchasing, design and dispatch to keep customer projects moving
- Resolving problems and queries when they arise
- Developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities for additional work
- Attending customer meetings where required
- Keeping customer, quotation and order information up to date
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in account management, sales support, customer service or a similar B2B role
- Communicates confidently and professionally with customers
- Is organised and good at following things through
- Is comfortable managing several customers and projects at once
- Has good commercial judgement
- Is confident using normal office and business systems
- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be chased
- Works well with colleagues across different departments
Experience in manufacturing, retail fixtures, shopfitting, construction, engineering or a similar project-based industry would be useful, but isn't essential.
Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
Benefits:

- Company pension
- Cycle to work scheme
- Free parking
