Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and be eager to support the kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.
Duties
- Assist the cooks with basic food preparation tasks
- Keep the kitchen clean and organised at all times
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure all kitchen areas meet hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste appropriately
- Support in receiving and storing deliveries
Experience
Required Skills:
- Ability to help with food preparation
- Knowledge of kitchen operations
- Understanding of restaurant hygiene standards
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with culinary terminology
