The Salvation Army’s Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery Department is looking for a strategic, compassionate and mission-driven leader to join our International Team as International Project Advisor (VAWG) and Faith House Service Manager.
This exciting dual role will lead our international Violence Against Women and Girls project portfolio while providing developmental and operational oversight of Faith House, a specialist women-only service supporting women affected by sexual exploitation. You will connect frontline insight with international strategy, helping to shape trauma-informed, faith-based work that promotes dignity, safety, hope and transformation.
We are seeking someone with experience in international work, particularly in VAWG, modern slavery, anti-trafficking, safeguarding or related areas of social justice. You will bring excellent leadership, partnership, communication and financial management skills, alongside a deep commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred support for women affected by exploitation and violence.
This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian woman, as it involves Christian spiritual leadership and work within a women-only service where safety, dignity, privacy and trusted relationships are central to effective support.
