We are looking for a Removals Porter to join our team in Ilkley, West Yorkshire,
What’s the role?
As a Removal Porter, you’ll be a key part of our team, helping clients move their household goods safely and professionally. Your responsibilities will include:
- Packing boxes, wrapping furniture, and handling personal effects with care.
- Travelling across Yorkshire and the UK.
- Working flexible hours depending on work volumes, including occasional overnight stays.
What do you need?
We’re looking for motivated individuals who:
- Hold a full, clean driving licence (essential).
- Are smartly presented and demonstrate excellent customer service skills,
- Are ready to work in a physically demanding role.
- Have a positive outlook and Resilient to last minute changes.
The job involves meeting and working around members of the public, so appearance is very important and to this end full company uniform will be provided and is to be worn at all times. Previous experience within the removals industry is advantageous but not a necessity.
The contract is based on a basic 151 hours a month with opportunity for overtime and occasional weekend working.
We can offer an excellent rate of pay dependent on experience.
