Join Our Growing Property Development Team
Easy Living Developments Ltd is an established and expanding property development company seeking an experienced, commercially minded Accountant / Financial Controller to lead our finance function.
This is a senior leadership role for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the group’s financial management and accounting function.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and CIS.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and HMRC.
- Manage payroll and oversee supplier payments and customer receipts.
- Monitor project profitability and provide financial analysis on development schemes.
- Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the Directors to support business decisions.
- Lead and mentor the finance team as the business grows.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
- Significant experience in a senior accounting or financial controller role.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
- Experience within property development, construction, or real estate would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
