About the Role:
This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of specialty coffee. We're looking for someone eager to learn every aspect of our operation, with knowledge of green coffee to expertly pulling shots and engaging with our customers. You'll be trained in coffee roasting and advanced barista techniques, while also being a vital part of our front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning and assisting with coffee roasting processes.
Developing advanced barista skills, including latte art and espresso calibration.
Providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and serving beverages and food.
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Handling cash and card transactions accurately.
Opening and closing the shop as a key holder.
Who We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to learn about its journey from farm to cup.
A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
Reliable, responsible, and a strong team player.
A commitment to full time, permanent employment; this is not a temporary position.
Must be 18 years or older (due to key-holder responsibilities).
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn are most important.
