Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, flexible and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across holiday accommodation, residential areas, and event spaces.
Due to the nature of the business, workloads vary and can increase at short notice, particularly during peak seasons. This role is best suited to someone who is dependable and able to adapt to changing schedules.
Working Hours
- Typically between 11:00am – 3:00pm Mondays , Wednesdays and Thursdays (3–4 hours) Saturdays (2+ hours as required) Sundays (11:00am–3:00pm, every other week) Flexibility required, especially during busy periods, and the event space may need cleaning at other times or on other days where required.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing glamping lodges, house, office, vehicles and event spaces Assisting the MD with other tasks such as sorting or weeding / watering plants / tidying flower beds and external areas Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation Sanitising surfaces in line with health and safety standards Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and household linens Restocking supplies (toiletries, cleaning materials, etc.) Reporting maintenance issues or damage Following cleaning schedules and procedures Keeping storage areas organised
Essential Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience (domestic or commercial) Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Ability to work independently Good organisation and time management skills Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Flexible approach to working hours
