Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or bulky components
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and meet service deadlines
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge gained through previous experience or technical training in automotive repair or related fields
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools essential for performing repairs effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship in every repair
- Prior experience working in an automotive service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
