Crusoe’s is a popular beachfront café and restaurant in Tynemouth, serving breakfast, coffee, sandwiches, fish & chips and a wide range of freshly prepared food throughout the day.
We are looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a high standard
- Supporting lunch service, including sandwiches, fish & chips and café favourites
- Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation of food
- Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised and compliant with food hygiene standards
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant or busy kitchen
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
