Overview
We are seeking an experienced cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at this fitness studio. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a spotless environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our clients’ spaces are safe, hygienic, and welcoming. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for those seeking part time employment.
Monday to Friday 3 hours per night
After 8.30pm
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas listed on the checklist using the appropriate cleaning agents and equipment provided.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and high traffic areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or cross-contamination.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high quality standards.
- Adhere to company policies regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and uphold health and safety regulations at all times. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in creating clean, hygienic environments and are committed to delivering excellent service.
