The Green Group is a General Haulage and Warehousing business with a fleet of modern vehicles. We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers working on our General Haulage Curtainside Fleet based at our Maltby site.
Our Drivers ensure goods are delivered professionally, efficiently and on time to our customers and in return you will earn a competitive salary.
We pay a meal allowance of £10 daily to all drivers, .
We guarantee payment of 50-hours of working five days a week (Mon to Fri).
We pay an additional £1.00 an hour after fifty hours of working Monday to Friday.
We pay a Monthly £100 compliance bonus based on Safe and Efficient Driving style
We pay a night out payment of £26.20 per night,
We pay bank holidays worked at Sunday rates.
Where possible try to allocate a truck to a driver if tramping permanently.
Driver CPC training paid for by company
Based on existing driver information:
Mon-Fri days – earnings of up to £43,300
Mon-Fri Tramping – earnings of up to £54,900
Mon-Fri Nights – earning of up to £40,100
4 on 4 off Days – earnings of up to £37,300
4 on 4 off Tramping – earnings of up to £49,500
Based on:
Days – Monday to Friday rate £13.00
Days – after fifty hours Mon to Fri we increase the rate to = £14.00
Days – Saturday rate = £15.50
Days – Sunday rate = £17:00
Nights – Monday to Friday rate = £13.50
Nights – after fifty hours Mon to Fri we increase the rate to = £14.50
Nights – Saturday rate = £16.00
Nights – Sunday rate = £17.50
Daily Meal Allowance £10 per shift
Night Out Allowance £26.20
Bank Holidays at Sunday Rate.

What we are looking for in You:
- Full LGV C+E Class 1 license, preferably with 2 years experience although we are happy to consider new passes
- No more than 6 points on your license
- Driven as a Class 1 LGV Driver in the UK
- Must have a valid DQC & digi-tacho card
- Have a good understanding of Driver hours and regulations
- Good English, both verbal & written
- Understanding of working time directive
- Professional and positive attitude
