Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in mixology, providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking orders and answering queries.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Stay updated on current drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong bartending skills with an understanding of various drink recipes is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
