We our looking for a community and youth work navigator to join the emerald team. The Emerald Team works with young people who are vulnerable to child exploitation and at risk of going missing. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. Working as part of the Emerald Team, you will provide targeted, youth-led support to adolescents at risk. You will build positive relationships with young people and families, deliver mentoring and group work programmes, collaborate with social workers and partner agencies, to help develop community-based opportunities that promote resilience, wellbeing, safety, inclusion and positive long-term outcomes.
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting vulnerable young people and families, with a strong understanding of adolescent development, safeguarding, and risks such as child exploitation, youth violence and involvement in the youth justice system. You will be skilled in engaging young people aged 10-17, building their confidence and resilience, and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
