We are currently looking for professional, reliable, and confident Event Security Officers to join our team for event-based roles at Epic Studios.
Job Summary
We are seeking vigilant and professional Event Security personnel to ensure the safety and security of attendees at various events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to any incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where maintaining order and safeguarding guests are paramount. Candidates should possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to safety.
Epic Studios is one of Norwich’s leading multi-purpose live event venues, hosting a wide variety of events including live music, comedy, sports entertainment, bingo, cabaret and private/corporate events. The venue can accommodate up to 850 guests standing or 600 seated, so we are looking for security staff who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing event environment
This is a great opportunity for individuals who are hardworking, presentable and able to remain calm under pressure while helping to provide a safe and secure environment for staff, guests, performers and members of the public.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring entrances, exits, Crowd control and restricted areas
- Carrying out bag checks and access control
- Managing crowd safety and responding to incidents
- Providing a visible security presence throughout events
- Assisting guests and delivering excellent customer service
- Working closely with venue staff and emergency services where required
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous event security experience is preferred but not essential
