Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems or order pads
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, serving, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive service
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change, and order calculations
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Effective time management skills to handle fast-paced service environments
- Culinary knowledge or experience is advantageous for understanding menu items and ingredients
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
