We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Head of Operations to keep our studio running smoothly, enabling the team to deliver exceptional creative work.
This role sits at the heart of our business, balancing big-picture thinking with day-to-day operations. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll help shape how the studio grows and operates; contributing to strategic decisions, long-term planning, and building the systems that let our people do their best work.
We are wearegrip, a London based creative studio who work with some of the most exciting drivers in F1. Our goal is to build the most distinctive personal brands in sport that capture the attention of fans, teams and brands around the world.
Working hand-in-hand with each driver we create and manage their personal brand across social media, branding, marketing, merchandise, content creation, digital and more.

Maintain visibility across studio priorities, tracking progress and surfacing key outcomes to the leadership team.

Oversee end-to-end operational workflows, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.

Keep a close eye on capacity, spotting bottlenecks and resourcing gaps before they become problems.

Partner with teams to refine and improve operational processes, making sure they scale as we grow.

Share updates across the business, tracking priorities and ensuring visibility of key outcomes.

Work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain visibility of studio budgets, tracking spend and flagging variances to the leadership team.

Partner with the Finance Manager on commercial planning and financial forecasting as the studio grows.

Own and manage the studio's software stack; evaluating tools, managing licenses, and ensuring the team has what they need to work efficiently.

Lead the rollout of new tools and systems, driving adoption across the team.

Continuously assess and improve the technology that underpins how we work.

Establish and maintain the studio's operational cadences; team meetings, check-ins, and reporting rhythms that keep everyone aligned.

Build and own key metrics and dashboards that give leadership clear visibility of studio health and performance.

Support goal-setting and strategic planning cycles, helping translate the studio's ambitions into clear, operational priorities

Act as the first point of contact for contracts, NDAs, and supplier agreements, working with leadership and external advisors where needed.

Ensure the studio meets relevant compliance requirements, flagging risks early and keeping processes up to date.

Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management — helping to build and grow a high-performing, motivated team.

Be the go-to person for team queries, supporting a smooth and well-connected workplace.

Champion a culture of responsibility, continuous learning, and innovation.

Organise team events, socials, and away days to foster collaboration and engagement.

Work closely with the leadership team to guide priorities, strengthen collaboration, and support the studio's day-to-day direction.

You have a minimum of 6 years' experience in studio or operations management, ideally within a creative studio.

You are based in London and can commute to Hoxton at least three times a week.

You are experienced with operations and workflow tools, such as Asana.

You are a self-starter with a desire to contribute as part of the leadership team at a fast-growing company.

You have an operational mindset and enjoy building systems and processes that make teams more efficient without adding unnecessary complexity.

You are commercially aware, comfortable working across budgets, negotiating with suppliers, and thinking about the business behind the work.

You have experience working closely with founders or senior leadership, and are comfortable contributing to strategic conversations.

You are a strong communicator who aligns internal teams and keeps everyone on the same page.
