Property Turnaround Specialists — Self-Employed | Oxford | £13.50–£16/hour
Phileos is a premium short-stay property care company in Oxford with one standard: Nothing Below Excellence. We prepare homes for guests the way a five-star hotel prepares a room — and as our client base grows, we have regular work for reliable, detail-obsessed cleaning professionals on a self-employed basis.
The work
- Turnover cleaning between guest stays, to a documented professional standard
- Linen and bedding changeovers
- Photo-documented completion — every property guest-ready before check-in
- Full training in the Phileos Standard provided: our checklists, methods and quality system
Two ways to work with us (choose one or both)
- Weekday work — jobs available across Monday to Friday, typically several days per week and increasing as we grow. No driving licence needed: properties are in Oxford, reachable by public transport, and we group jobs by day and area so your travel is worth your time. From £13.50 per hour.
- Weekend work — Saturdays and Sundays, approximately 8–12 hours per weekend, including linen transport between properties. Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential. From £16 per hour.
The terms
- Self-employed basis: jobs are offered and you're free to accept or decline; workload varies with bookings and no minimum hours are guaranteed — though reliable professionals get priority allocation and consistently full schedules
- You invoice monthly; payment by bank transfer on the 14th
- You'll need to be (or become) registered with HMRC as self-employed and hold public liability insurance — we'll explain exactly what's needed before your first job
- Right-to-work check completed before your first job
