Smile Club is a well-established 6-surgery mixed NHS and private dental practice based in Cheadle Hulme. The practice provides the following specialist level treatment in Dental Implants, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Oral surgery, Cosmetic and aesthetic work, Advanced restorative dentistry and Digital Dentistry including Cerec Primemill.
We are seeking a full time highly organised and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, delivering exceptional patient care, and managing a team of dental professionals. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a background in management within healthcare or veterinary settings. The ideal applicant will possess supervisory experience, management expertise, and a solid understanding of financial and human resources management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency and high standards of patient care
- Supervise and support dental staff, including dentists, hygienists, receptionists, treatment coordinator and dental assistants.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and clinical workflows to optimise productivity
- Handle financial management tasks such as billing, budgeting, and expense control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and industry standards
- Lead human resources functions including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, rota's and staff development programmes
- Maintain excellent communication with patients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Implement practice policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as necessary
Qualifications
- Proven dental practice management experience
- Strong management skills with a focus on organisational efficiency and team leadership
- Knowledge of financial management
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and staff development
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Hours:
Monday: 8:30am-5pm
Tuesday to Friday: 9am - 5pm
Salary based upon experience
