Early Help Worker
Location: Seaforth, Liverpool, Merseyside
Pay Rate: £17.37 per hour PAYE or £22.68 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Temporary
Duration: 20 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week

Seven Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Early Help Worker to join a children and families service in Seaforth, Liverpool. This is a fantastic temporary opportunity for a dedicated professional to support children, young people and families through early intervention, targeted support and strengths-based practice.
The successful candidate will work directly with children and young people aged 0–19 and their families, helping to identify needs, coordinate support and deliver effective interventions that promote resilience, independence and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and empower children, young people and families using a strengths-based and person-centred approach.
- Provide the right support at the right time through effective early help and early intervention.
- Deliver appropriate interventions and activities to help families identify solutions to their challenges and develop resilience.
- Act as a single point of contact for children, young people and families, coordinating holistic and effective support plans.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action, escalating issues where necessary.
- Work closely with families to assess needs, agree outcomes and review progress.
- Coordinate multi-agency support and work in partnership with professionals including Health Visitors, schools, Early Years providers, housing services and voluntary sector organisations.
- Encourage and promote engagement with universal and voluntary services.
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, young people, families and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate, timely and professional case records in accordance with service requirements.
- Contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people through effective family support and early help interventions.
Applicant Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, young people and families within an Early Help, Family Support, Youth Support or similar service.
- Experience of delivering targeted interventions and supporting families with a range of complex needs.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding children and promoting welfare.
- Experience of working in partnership with multiple agencies and coordinating support.
- Ability to build effective relationships and engage positively with children, young people and families.
- A strengths-based approach with the ability to empower families to develop their own solutions.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records.
- A relevant qualification in childcare, youth work, family support, social care or a related field would be advantageous.
