Some of your key responsibilities as ASSISTANT HEAD CHEF at Maki & Ramen Shoreditch
Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations

Create and develop menus,ensuring high-quality and innovative dishes
-
Supervise and train kitchen staff,including scheduling and performance management
-
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
-
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
-
Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and inventory management
-
Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
-
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Assistant Head Chef or in a similar role. Experience working in an Asian / Japanese restaurant is ideal.

Strong culinary skills,including food preparation,cooking techniques,and flavor combinations

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Excellent leadership and team management abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts

Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred,but not required
