The role of a Complex care assistant we are looking for is specifically aimed to expand our core team whom support a specific care package.
The candidate must be able to initially work days for the process of building relationships with the core team members, the service user and his wife. Gaining Specific knowledge to enhance skills. Attending training development within complex care. This process has a time frame of 2 to 4 weeks dependent on the availability of candidate to increase hours and days of attendance.
The role is aimed to recruit a team member for 2 nights per week.
The candidate will be required to work on a set 2 week rolling rota the details of potential pattern requirements are;
Week 1
Tuesday- 10pm start 7am finish
Wednesday- 10pm start 7am finish
week 2
Thursday- 10pm start 7am finish
Friday - 10pm start 7am finish
total hours per week- 18
Although the potential for additional hours is readily available if chosen to support across day& night patterns.
Day support details are as follows;
7 days a week a package of care is in place for;
2 x staff Hours starting at 9:30am-finish at 16:30. Total hours 7 per day.
Due to the required 2x staff and 7 days, discussions can take place for chosen set days each week can take Although set days will be on a 2 week rolling rota and the candidate must be committed to a full weekend planned for 1 of the 2.

Job Description - What will you be doing?
As a Complex Healthcare Assistant you will need to be reliable, flexible, friendly, punctual, caring and professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work alone but be part of the team.
The successful candidate must be able to provide care and support to the best of their ability and have the following skills and experience:
- The ability to treat people with dignity and respect
- All aspects of continence support and personal care
- Administering medication
- General household duties
- Maintain good communication with staff and service users
- Develop effective working relationships
- Provide companionship and empathy
- Promote a person centered approach to care
- Can work independently and as part of a team
Applicants don't need to have any experience as industry-leading training will be provided, however we do welcome experienced applicants.
Enhanced DBS on the live update system would be preferred but not essential as a new DBS can be applied for.
A Full UK driving license and access to your own car is essential due to the nature of travel.
