The School and Role
This primary school in Gateshead (NE9 area) is currently looking to recruit a KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time basis from October 2026. Working in school until December, the KS2 Teacher appointed for the role will be covering a Year 5 class, where pupils have differing levels of attainment. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is an average primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have:
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
