Dental Nurse –M-Brace Orthodontics
Location: M-Brace Orthodontics , 3 Heritage House ,North Street , Glenrothes.
Salary: Depending on experience
Hours: Full-time/Part-time
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Dental Nurse to join our friendly orthodontic practice.
As a Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our orthodontists and wider clinical team to provide a high standard of patient care. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and reassuring experience for our patients, many of whom may be children, teenagers and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the orthodontist during clinical appointments and procedures
- Preparing and maintaining surgeries and clinical equipment
- Supporting patients throughout their orthodontic treatment
- Providing patients with clear and reassuring oral hygiene and treatment advice
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with practice procedures
- Supporting the smooth running of the practice and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Working effectively as part of a friendly and professional team
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Ideally experienced in orthodontics, although full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Friendly, approachable and confident when communicating with patients
- Caring and patient-focused, with a genuine interest in supporting patients through their treatment journey
- Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Committed to maintaining excellent clinical and professional standards
