Believe Care and Support is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Internal Trainer to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our workforce, ensuring staff receive high-quality mandatory training, supporting professional development and promoting best practice in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
About the Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering mandatory and specialist training across the organisation. You will support staff to access additional qualifications and development opportunities, including vocational qualifications and apprenticeships, and work closely with managers to identify learning needs.
A significant part of the role will involve supporting staff understanding and implementation of PBS plans, facilitating reflective discussions following incidents, and helping to identify learning opportunities that improve practice and outcomes for the people we support.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in health and social care.
- Has experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Holds a recognised training qualification.
- Is qualified to deliver Emergency First Aid at Work training.
- Has strong knowledge and experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
- Is confident delivering engaging training sessions to adult learners.
- Has excellent communication, coaching and organisational skills.
PMVA Instructor qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
