Turning Tides is a dynamic and impactful charity working to end local homelessness across West Sussex. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and compassionate Administrator to join our Income & Engagement Team.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our organisation. As the first point of contact for supporters, partners, the public and people experiencing homelessness, the Administrator delivers excellent customer service with professionalism, empathy and attention to detail. The role provides vital administrative support across the organisation, managing enquiries, processing donations, maintaining databases and supporting fundraising activities.
You are an organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You are confident communicating with people from all backgrounds and can balance multiple priorities in a busy environment.
You will bring:
- Excellent Administrative Skills – You have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, enabling you to manage a varied workload, maintain accurate records and support the efficient running of the team.
- Outstanding Communication Skills – You are confident communicating both verbally and in writing, providing a professional, informative and compassionate service to supporters, members of the public and individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Confidence Using Systems and Technology – You are comfortable using Microsoft Office and databases, with experience of CRM systems and accurate data entry.
- A Customer-Focused Approach – You are committed to delivering excellent service and understand the importance of creating positive experiences for everyone who interacts with Turning Tides.
- Strong Attention to Detail – Whether processing donations, handling correspondence or maintaining databases, you understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality.
- A Collaborative Mindset – You work well independently and as part of a team, building positive relationships with colleagues, supporters and external partners.
