Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 07:00 – 10:00 (with occasional weekends to cover sickness or holidays)
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Cleaning Team Leader to guide our cleaning crew and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. In this role, you will split your time between hands-on cleaning and supervising your team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. If you have a sharp eye for detail, great communication skills, and love motivating others, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Staff: Monitor and support a team of 3/4 cleaners during shifts.
- Hands-on Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and sanitizing alongside your team.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet company standards.
- Train Team Members: Ensure all staff have the adequate cleaning training.
- Manage Supplies: Track stock levels, order cleaning chemicals, and maintain equipment.
- Enforce Safety: Ensure the team correctly follows COSHH/chemical safety rules.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of professional cleaning experience.
- Leadership: Previous experience supervising, leading, or training a team is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to speak clearly with team members and build good relationships with clients.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, bend, and lift cleaning equipment for long periods.
