About Taylor Hunt
Taylor Hunt Ltd is a growing specialist contractor delivering high-quality lift interiors, architectural finishes and refurbishment projects across the UK.
We’re looking for a practical, skilled and reliable person to join our workshop team at our Warrington premises.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role and would suit someone with previous experience in joinery, carpentry, cabinet making, kitchen manufacturing, shopfitting, fabrication or a similar workshop-based trade.
You don’t need experience within the lift industry – we can teach you that. What is important is that you already have good practical skills, can work accurately and take pride in producing work to a high standard.
The Role
Our workshop team manufactures and prepares the bespoke components used by our site teams to create high-quality lift interiors and architectural finishes.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Manufacturing bespoke joinery and interior components
- Cutting, assembling and finishing materials
- Working with a range of materials and finishes
- Reading and working from measurements and technical drawings
- Using workshop machinery, hand tools and power tools
- Preparing components ready for installation by our site teams
- Checking finished work for accuracy and quality
- Working closely with the wider workshop and site teams
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Every project is different, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving and producing quality work rather than repetitive production-line manufacturing.
Experience We're Interested In
Previous practical/workshop experience is necessary.
We’d particularly like to hear from people with experience in:
- Joinery
- Carpentry
- Cabinet making
- Kitchen manufacturing or fitting
- Shopfitting
- Interior fit-out
- Furniture manufacturing
- Fabrication
- General workshop manufacturing
- Other similar skilled trades
Specific lift industry experience is not required.

- Previous experience in a practical or skilled trade
- Good practical ability and confidence using tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately from measurements and drawings
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and methods
- Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential
