About the Job
We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organised professional to act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, lead times, and product availability. In this role, you will build strong customer relationships through regular communication via phone, Teams, and email, providing timely updates on orders, inventory, pricing, and delivery schedules. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end order process, including contract review, order entry, stock verification, and ensuring products are delivered on time and in line with customer expectations.. The role also requires monitoring order compliance with pricing and minimum quantity requirements, while ensuring adherence to Export Control regulations and company policies.

Working Core Days which consist of a flexi start time of 07:45 - 08:15, finishing at 16:30 - 17:15 (dependent on start time) Monday to Thursday. Then, Friday 8am - 12:30 half day.
Responsibilities will include

Serve as the main contact for customer inquiries related to orders and lead times via phone, teams, and email.

Conduct regular calls with customers to provide order updates, discuss lead times, and address any concerns.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering professional service.

Provide accurate and timely updates on orders, inventory, and pricing.
-
Manage customer orders, including contract review, order entry, stock checks, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Monitor new orders for minimum quantity and pricing compliance.

Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, Dispatch, and Production, to resolve order-related issues.

Support Export Control requirements and ensure compliance with company policies.
Education and Experience
-
Educated to A/NHD level or equivalent.

Prior customer service experience preferred but not essential

Proficiency in Excel, with some MRP experience as a minimum
