Can you help people build stable lives and move towards independence?
Tenancy Support Worker, West Hull
Salary £28,000 FTE depending on experience.
For more than 40 years, Giroscope has worked in West Hull to bring unwanted buildings back into use, provide genuinely affordable homes and create opportunities for people to make positive change happen.
We are looking for a thoughtful, practical and people-focused Tenancy Support Worker to work alongside new and existing tenants. You will help people identify their strengths, interests, skills and goals, sustain their tenancy and achieve positive outcomes.
This is a role for someone who understands that good support is not about doing things for people. It is about listening, building trust, recognising strengths and helping each person take practical steps towards greater independence and wellbeing.
You will join a small housing team and work across all aspects of a supported, sustained tenancy. You will provide personalised one-to-one coaching, maintain clear support and risk-management records, advocate when needed and connect tenants with services, activities and opportunities.
At Giroscope, social value is at the heart of everything we do. We are open, honest and reliable; we share knowledge and skills; and we combine deep local roots with bold, practical ideas. We aim to create places where change begins through fresh ideas and help people make the right connections to move forward.
