Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our project team at our Dales Voe Decommissioning Facility on Shetland. Reporting to Site Management and Directors, it provides the successful applicant the opportunity work in a dynamic, vibrant, challenging work environment.
Job Overview:
- The successful candidate will be assisting the Project Management Team with the preparation of documentation for the Contractor and Client use to ensure we are meeting our quality and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that the Company Policies and Procedures and all applicable current statutory regulations are observed.
· Assist in managing the contract programme delivery ensuring documentation is prepared and signed off prior to the scheduled activity commencement date.
· Conduct or call upon meetings as necessary to ensure consistency across the project documentation to aid the preparation of adoptable methods within the site constraints. This will also require site reviews with the operations team to ensure both method and statutory compliance are achieved accurately, noted accurately in a written form, and disseminated accurately to the operations team and those conducting the works.
· Understand the environmental impacts and safety hazards arising from or regarding the proposed method and contract works a have an up-to-date awareness of the current primary legislation and statutory regulations.
· Assist in review and comment upon Brown and Mason subcontractor documentation to ensure their scheduled contract obligations and practices are compliant with current legislation and regulations and form a safe system of works. This is a task that should be undertaken with the Resident SHE Manager.
· Prepare Brown and Mason RAMS where applicable and ensure they are jointly reviewed for quality and compliance prior to being issued to the client.
· Use of As-built information, photos, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Vision etc.. is required to provide pictorial directives within the RAMS to the operations team to aid full understanding of the works that are to be achieved.
· Provide relevant data for Brown and Mason Monthly Contractor Reports
· Assist in environmental compliance including logistics with the Site Manager
· Ensures any issues are reported to immediate line manager or Director Responsible.
· Report directly to Site Manager/Project Manager and other business Directors as requested
Off-shore Decommissioning experience would be preferred but this is not essential.
