Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all customers, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-equipped during service hours.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist with setting up events or functions as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
