MGB Tool Supplies Ltd is a well-established tool supplier based in Lincoln, supplying a wide range of cutting tools, hand tools, power tools, abrasives, PPE and associated products to trade and commercial customers.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Storeman to join our small, friendly team. This is a varied, hands-on role which would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping things organised and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running and organisation of our warehouse, including receiving incoming goods, preparing customer orders and keeping stock accurate and well organised.
There will also be occasional local deliveries, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Booking goods into our computer system
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing goods for dispatch and collection
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Carrying out regular stock checks and stock counts
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse
- Ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently
- Keeping warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised
- Identifying discrepancies, damaged goods or stock issues
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Carrying out local deliveries to customers when required
- Providing general support to the wider team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Comfortable working on their own initiative

- Physically capable of handling boxes and stock
- Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks
- Confident learning new stock and computer systems
- Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and suppliers
- Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
Previous warehouse or stores experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
A basic knowledge or understanding of tools, engineering products or hardware would be preferred, although full product training will be provided.
