About the role
Wiggett Group is looking for a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the electrical industry while gaining practical, hands-on experience alongside recognised electrical qualifications - 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 and AM2.
Working alongside experienced electricians, you will primarily support our team with domestic electrical inspection and testing, including Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), as well as installation across domestic and commercial properties. You will learn how to carry out electrical testing safely and professionally while developing a strong understanding of electrical installations and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with domestic EICR testing and inspection work
- Learn how to inspect and test electrical installations
- Assist with identifying electrical faults and potential safety issues
- Develop an understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices
- Use electrical testing equipment under supervision
- Complete work to a high standard while maintaining excellent health and safety practices
- Attend college or training as required as part of your apprenticeship
- Develop practical skills and knowledge towards achieving your electrical qualification

Previous electrical experience is not essential — enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
We also need to confirm your local college is able to enroll you onto a Level 3 Electrical Course.
