Responsibilities
- Set up and operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to control panel saw machinery for precise cuts.
- Use hand tools and power tools to adjust tooling, fixtures, and material supports for optimal cutting performance.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including loading, unloading, and stacking panels.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including milling adjustments and tooling replacements, to maintain peak performance.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials
- Proven experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments, with a focus on panel saw operation preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools, milling machines, and welding equipment.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and setting up machinery accurately
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse setting to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Ability to operate tooling safely and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
