DM Recruitment are looking for Refuse Collectors to work around the Tavistock area.
Pay; £12.71ph
Days; Monday to Friday
Shifts; 6.00am until 4:00pm (possibility of finishing later depending on traffic)
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Refuse Collector to join our waste management team. The role involves collecting and disposing of refuse and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Walk alongside refuse collection vehicles along designated routes to collect waste
- Empty bins into the vehicle using mechanical lifting equipment
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate collection activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during waste collection
- Perform basic maintenance on collection vehicles
- Sort recyclable materials from general waste
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence to travel to different sites
