Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties
- Greeting guests warmly and ensuring they feel welcome throughout their visit
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving drinks and meals with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Ensuring guest satisfaction by checking in during their visit and responding promptly to requests
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately at the point of sale
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations
- Assisting with food preparation or bar tending duties as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations
- Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is a plus but not essential
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
