The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Support the kitchen and staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food safety practices, maintaining hygiene standards in line with health regulations.
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service experiences.
- Develop menus, plan meal schedules, and innovate new culinary offerings.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Ensure all food presentation meets quality standards before serving.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing a team in a hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food service procedures, including serving and catering operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. MUST DRIVE DUE TO LOCATION
Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
